Took place in St Patrick’s Church Hall (Stonehouse Road) at 6pm and was run by Pat
Dakin involving a group of 15 children aged 5 to 7. Photographers from East Kilbride news and Hamilton advertiser took photos of the children with a view to publish an article on the project.
The workshop consisted of a short video about Fairtrade, where the farms are in the world (using map, etc) and finished with children making a sweet based on Fairtrade ingredients.
They watched the first 5 minutes of each video published by the Fairtrade Foundation
and did a workshop on the ‘Coffee Morning’ video. They then made chocolate crispies with Fairtrade chocolate.
